Mendes also discussed the couple"s decision to keep her child"s life as private as possible.

During an interview with Latina, Mendes opened up about the couple"s tie to lớn the name.
"My grandmother"s name is Amada, & Esmeralda Amada is the name of our oldest," she said, adding, "We had a few names picked out for our new baby, & when she was born, we didn"t feel like those names were her."
